Dave Schroeder, MS, MA
Dave Schroeder is a senior cyber strategist at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, a public research university in Madison, Wisconsin. He is assigned to UW–Madison's central Information Technology organization. He serves as a UW Expert and is a part of the UW Speakers Bureau.
Schroeder has served as a Cryptologic Warfare Officer, intelligence professional, and Space Cadre in the U.S. Navy. His expertise includes cyberspace operations (CO), signals intelligence (SIGINT), and space policy, systems, and operations. He is a member of the U.S. Marine Corps Cyber Auxiliary.
He is also Program Manager for Navy Information Warfare Community (IWC) Self Synchronization, working closely with OPNAV N2N6 Public Affairs to disseminate curated news and information via a daily newsletter and social media presences with a collective reach of over 30,000 personnel.
He holds degrees in Cybersecurity Policy (MS), Information Warfare (MA), and Information Operations (BA), a graduate certificate in Space Systems from the Naval Postgraduate School, is a graduate of the Naval War College and the Joint Forces Staff College, and is an Apple Distinguished Educator.
