Dave Schroeder, MS, MA, CISSP is a strategist at the University of Wisconsin–Madison in its central Information Technology organization. He serves as a UW Expert and part of the UW Speakers Bureau, and on the Board of Directors of the Wisconsin Security Research Consortium (WSRC).
Schroeder serves as an Army Cyber Operations Officer in the Wisconsin Army National Guard, and previously served as an Information Warfare Officer and Cryptologic Warfare Officer in the U.S. Navy. His expertise includes cyberspace operations (CO), signals intelligence (SIGINT), and information operations (IO).
He is Program Manager for Navy Information Warfare Community (IWC) Self Synchronization, working closely with Navy IWC Public Affairs to disseminate curated news and information via a daily newsletter and social media presences with a reach across the Navy Information Warfare enterprise.
He holds degrees in Cybersecurity Policy (MS), Information Warfare (MA), and Information Operations (BA), a graduate certificate in Space Systems from the Naval Postgraduate School, is a graduate of the Naval War College and the Joint Forces Staff College, and is an Apple Distinguished Educator.
